Is this a kit car, or an original. Any other info on it besides a 1929/ 1930 style Bugatti? I'd love some info on it.

You're in Pensacola? I'm over there twice a week!

To make my posting relevant though, I've seen a few 20's/30's style racers driving around over there before, mostly early Sunday morning kind of stuff. I wish I knew if they were all meeting up or something and where I could go to get a better look.

Lol, that guy looks chilly. It was 16F yesterday and I wore a hoodie.

Clearly it's some kind of special Bugatti.

Looking through some pics through GIS looks like a Type 37A

After some detailed analysis.... I'd say that car is #8.

I'd love to see him race Brian Johnson in his Bentley.

And possibly, the number 8 special version.

I'm guessing a kit car because I've never seen a real Bugatti in yellow or with those wheels. But still its pretty sweet and I want it.

Look at the placement of the rear wheels on the Type 37A and this car - they're different.

Bugatti made LHD racing cars with fenders wide enough for radial tires?

Those wheels kinda ruin it for me but damn does it still look nice.

Definitely a kit. A guy at my parent's condo in Miami has an identical one. It could be the same exact car for all we know Miami isn't too far from Pensacola. Next time I see him I'll try to get more details.

Yep, I'm stationed down here for a few months. The coolest cars I've seen down here are a silver LFA, black Morgan Aero, an SRT Viper, and a few ZR1s. Not as cool as some of the cars in NYC cars and definitely Miami, but a pretty good selection for sunday cruises.

It might just be the kit though.

I love the cars in Miami, it has the greatest amount of rare/supercars I've ever seen.

There are a few people over there with some REALLY neat shit, but they don't frequent any of the car stuff.
Do you go out to any of the meets or anything?

I didn't even know there were meet-ups I take my toys (s2000, shifter kart, and my S/o's golf R) to abandoned airports and run them, I have a video us having some fun out there in a previous story I wrote on here the link is below.

I think I know which abandoned airstrip that is, although I thought they'd cracked down on people going out there to mess around. There is an absolutely rice-tastic meet every Saturday night downtown, it's good for the entertainment factor and every now and then there is something interesting, there is a more low-key meet on Tuesday evenings in Fort Walton as well(I go to that one weekly).
Can... can.. I drive your shifter cart? haha, I've always wanted to try one out.

I've always said that Miami is one of the best car spotting cities in the world. On a daily basis I see multiple Ferraris, Lamborghinis, Maseratis, countless "normal" cars like M3,5,6s, and more Porsches then you can shake a stick at.
You make it down here often?

Nice. There's some decent SCCA regions around here that have some pretty nifty locations secured. One guy brings a kart out every now and then to do some runs.
If you ever need help with anything on cars or want to go to a meet or something, shoot me an email at zmgrant@gmail.com, I'm always around.
